My condolences to David's family and friends. I met Dave through the walking group and so shared many happy times with him in probably two of his favourite places - the great outdoors and pubs. When I picture Dave, it’s with a smile on his face , a pint in his hand and some amusing story on the tip of his tongue. Special times that won’t be forgotten.

We would like to offer our condolences to Dave's family, we are saddened to hear about his passing, he will be greatly missed by our team. We had many years of working alongside Dave, and would like his family to know how highly regarded he was amongst the farming community in Cheshire. He is remembered fondly by many farmers that he helped through his catchment work, always wise and fair in his advice, and one of the most reassuring people whose influence was always positive, no matter the situation. We greatly appreciated his wealth of knowledge and experience, but he was also one of the kindest and loveliest people to work alongside. He'll be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all of us. I would like to offer my deepest sympathies to Dave's family and friends. Dave was a wonderful man, who I was so lucky to work with. Dave gave me confidence to get out on farms and trust my knowledge and I will forever be grateful to him. Dave always had time to have a good chat or have a good 'ol rant with and I miss that greatly. He was well respected by farmers, farmer consultants and colleagues a like. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

I would like to pass on my condolences to Daves Family and friends, I knew Dave as did many from the Cheshire Walkers group he typified the essence and soul of the group organizing walks weekends away social evenings and even walking trip aboard, he was a positive force and someone you could have a good laugh with. Its a great shame he's gone but he has left alot of happy memories. Aidan & Zoe
